The People's Club soar 4 points clear of Manchester United [The PLC Club]; Premiership final score: Manchester City 0:1 Everton.

A 60 minute headed 1st goal from Tim Cahill [from a Hibbert cross] gave us a well-deserved 3 pts. at Man City. We dominated most of the match and with a little more luck, could easily have reversed last season's hammering.

Amazingly, Cahill was then immediately sent off by the man in black, apparently it was for a 2nd bookable offence, for smiling too broadly and pulling his shirt up [although he didn't take it off]. What is the game coming to?

Turning to the pre-match poll, results as follows:
Man City win: top banana, madferrit, everybody doing a Liam Gallagher swagger with tattoos on show and ear-rings in etc 63%
Everton win: Man City have had this coming since last May 38%
0:0 Bore draw 0%
Score draw 0%
Congratulations to the optimistic 38% of voters.

By the way, we're now 4 pts. clear of Man. U. Not bad eh Wayne?
