Noticed
this sizzler of an article today - do us a favour lad. Not bitter are we Charlie? HL is a good player but [a] he's risen to fame in [mere] Scotland and [b] he's
nowhere near Rooney's all-round proficiency.
Moving on to the foot. I understand that Everton have not had a look at it yet. I await the definitve prognosis with interest. I hope the lad's ready for the Arsenal game, assuming that he's still with us. Talking of which, I suspect that the foot injury may postpone any transfer until the January [05?] transfer window. Having given it an incredible amount of thought, I'm still not sure whether it would actually be a cause for even the tiniest hint of celebration to see him go to the likes of Chowski, leaving us behind with only full pockets and empty hearts. I reckon I'll probably be gutted, no matter what any sale sum may be.
Digressing, Urs Meier, the referee from the England Portugal game can be contacted
here, the meff.
Have you heard what the England camp have been calling Rooney?
Wazza :-(
