Superb Everton fan reader comment from the Echo website

Further to my earlier article about Kenwright getting slaughtered after an appalling article in the Liverpool Echo, by Dave Prentice, I spotted two really good posts by a certain "VinnyB"

Read my earlier article here.

So here are VinnyB's posts [from p4 of the comments], sums things up very well.

This is a shockingly poor article only made worse by DP's witheringly weak response to legitimate concerns raised here. Where's the money from the following:

Bellefield,
Kit Bag Deal,
Chang,
Sky money for league positions and televison appearances (has to be more than budgeted for by the club, Vaughny and Piennar

Why no money when net transfer spend = £0

That's what you should be asking DP

Catastrophies on the grandest scale include:

Kings Dock
Sport Fortress Fund
Destination Kirkby
Park End Retail Collapse
Dan Gosling

A board that are clearly sitting back and doing nothing to attract inward investment. which is in stark contrast to their non-football business activities.

On the positive we have a brilliant but overly cautious manager who has worked miracles. Quality players, Finch Farm, a fantastic academy.

Nobody is saying it's doom and gloom. It's just tragic that one of the biggest names in football is a laughing stock due it's complete and utter incompetence at board level.

Nobody is screaming for revolution here. We have a board that is clearly content to say one thing but do the other.

Most fans appreciate the financial constraints the club are under but absolutely nobody accepts that there is NOTHING in the kitty, when the clubs revenue streams will be the best in it's history. Non-League teams have more money to spend than us.

DP and the Echo have missed the point massively. What is abundantly clear is that this board think Moyesey can work the miracles year on year so there is no incentive to give him a penny to spend.

We are not expecting Messi. Sneider etc, but there has to be some investment. It is a false economy co we are so close to getting right in the mix for CL places which could have been done with one quality addition per year plus a couple of squad players.
